Today is World Mental Health Day. This is a worldwide inititative to raise awareness and to drive positive change for everyone. This year's theme, set by the World Federation of Mental Health, is "Mental Health is a Universal Right."
Here in the Seattle area, we fortunately have Nami Seattle that provides accessible mental health support services so check them out. We regularly list their BIPOC and LGBTQ+ mental health support groups on our calendar.
We understand that for people of color, locating mental health services with professionals who understand the unique issues they face can be hard so we've put together a resource list.
