Black History on Your Phone
Our co-Founder, Dr. Caprice Hollins, enjoys getting Black history from the service Pushblack on her phone. According to the service,
"PushBlack was created to bridge the gap between the past and present by sharing empowering stories intersecting news and history. As the United States’ first mobile-based organizing group for Black Americans, we inform our people about critical issues and lead them to take action. We believe in the power of Black history and share lessons from the past that people can use today as they work to strengthen their community."

Hosts Scot and Sue engage in a conversation with Maurice exploring themes of anti-authoritarianism and grassroots political organizing. Maurice shares insights into the challenges and strategies involved in building a broad-based, inclusive movement that resists authoritarian tendencies while advocating for working families.
