Disability Pride Month was created to commemorate the anniversary of the landmark 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Advocacy organization The Arc set the theme "We Want a Life Like Yours" this year to "reflect the disability community's dreams for life experiences that they are too often denied." The following are some resources to learn more about living with disabilities and ways you can commemorate this month.
