Vendors Needed – 14th Annual Marketplace & Arts Fair
Mar 3 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

4802 South Mead Street
Seattle, Washington 98118
October 14, 2017

Greetings,
Mount Zion’s Women’s Ministry is preparing for its fourteenth Marketplace and Arts Fair
March 3, 2018, from 10:00 a. m. until 4:00 p. m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1634 Rev. Dr.
Samuel McKinney Avenue in Seattle, at the corner of 19 th and Madison. Set-up begins at 10:00
a. m. EVERYONE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SELL AT 11:00 A. M. The Marketplace
opens promptly at 11:00 a. m.; break-down and clean up is 4:00 p. m. until 5:00 p. m. WE
EXPECT YOU TO BE ON TIME AND STAY UNTIL THE EVENT ENDS. Help us spread the
word to other vendors and shoppers. Begin advertising now! If each vendor had a minimum of
ten guests, we would have a good, steady flow.
You will be provided a table and two chairs. You are welcome to bring your own table.
We are working hard to improve attendance by inviting churches and advertising in
newspapers and the radio. Please help by inviting your family and friends to attend the event.
Send copies of our flyer to all of your e-mail and Facebook friends. Invite them immediately, and
remind them to mark their calendars.
Because we wish to avoid food vendors selling the same items, we are accepting the first
vendor who submits an application and the fee. All food vendors must have copies of their food
permits.
We have also scheduled entertainment. Send suggestions.
Attached is a vendor application. You have permission to make copies. Copies can be
downloaded from the website mountzionseattle.org. Remember: spaces will be filled as we get
applications AND fees. Please don’t send them separately. Applications are at the Mount Zion
Information Center. The Church Office is open 10:00 a. m. – 5:00 p. m. Tuesday – Friday.
Each vendor is asked to donate one item to be used as a door prize.
Let’s work hard to make this our best Marketplace and Fair ever.
Thank you to past participants and new participants.

Sincerely,
Georgia S. McDade
